Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Arrived ("Arrived", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit this website or join our waitlist. We keep this simple on purpose: we collect very little, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who is responsible for your data

Arrived is a pre-launch travel-transport project operated from Denmark. Until a company is incorporated, the data controller is the individual operator of Arrived, reachable at hello@arrived-app.com. This policy will be updated with the registered legal entity when incorporation completes.

What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

• Waitlist details — the email address you provide and, optionally, your next travel destination. Purpose: adding you to the waitlist and sending a confirmation and launch-related updates. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and your consent to receive updates, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Usage data — pages viewed, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and referring source. Purpose: understanding traffic and improving the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f)) for cookieless analytics; your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for cookie-based analytics (see Cookies below).
• Anti-spam data — limited technical signals (such as your IP address) processed by Cloudflare Turnstile to verify you are human. Purpose: protecting the waitlist form from bots and abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in site security (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not collect special-category data, we do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

Service providers (data processors)

We rely on a small number of processors to operate the site. Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, transfers are safeguarded by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses:

• Vercel (USA) — website hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
• Supabase (EU-hosted database) — secure storage of waitlist signups.
• Resend (USA) — sends the confirmation and update emails.
• Google Analytics (USA) — aggregate traffic analytics; loaded only after you consent via the cookie banner.
• Cloudflare Turnstile (USA/global) — bot protection on the waitlist form.

Cookies

Essential functionality works without cookies. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies only after you accept them via the consent banner; declining changes nothing about how the site works, and you can change your mind at any time. Vercel's built-in analytics are cookieless.

How long we keep your data

• Waitlist data: until the app launches and for up to 12 months afterward to send you relevant updates — or immediately upon your deletion request, whichever comes first.
• Analytics data: retained in aggregate form per the provider's standard retention (Google Analytics: 14 months).
• Anti-spam signals: processed transiently by Cloudflare and not stored by us.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate data;
• have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten");
• receive your data in a portable format;
• object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interest;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@arrived-app.com — we respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Denmark that is Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk), or you can complain to the authority in your own EU country.

Children

The site and waitlist are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has joined the waitlist, contact us and we will delete the entry.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way — for example when the app launches or a legal entity is incorporated — we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes affecting waitlist members, notify you by email.
